Good morning, Sharks Families!

Long one with LOTS of important info.  PLEASE READ TO THE END!!

Our dual meet season ends tomorrow with our AWAY meet against the Candlewood Sundevils. The swim club is located at 31 Newbury Rd, Howell Township. PLEASE declare for this meet ASAP.  Right now we have roughly 30 swimmers NOT DECLARED attending or not attending.  Mistakes happen when we are rushed to make changes to the meet at the last minute.  Please declare your swimmer ASAP if you have not already done so.  We are, of course, watching the weather. I tend to be a VERY positive person so I'm going to just proceed as if it will be a great day for a final meet and we will deal with any other scenarios if they arise. Rest assured that we do have a couple of contingency plans in place :-)

Wednesday 7/17- SILLY OLYMPICS! This should be a super fun event! We have broken the team into 2 groups and 2 hour and a half sessions. The 8U will be mixed in with the 13O and that session is from 4:45-6:15. The 9-10 and 11-12 group will be mixed together and that session is from 6:15-7:45. CLICK HERE to RSVP  to the event so that we know how for how many swimmers we should prepare. 

Saturday 7/20- 10U Championships @ Hazlet Swim Club   CLICK HERE to register for this meet.  Please do not miss out on this super fun and exciting event!  Swimmers may swim up to 3 individual events and 2 relays.  There is a $5 fee for each individual event.  Relays are made by the coaches and so MAY be paid for by the YMCA.  ***Payment for Championships can be made by cash or check made out to cash and MUST BE MADE ASAP.  The SHARKS lockbox and envelopes will be out on the table by the big tree at all practices.  You can leave your payment there if a parent rep is not available!

Thursday 7/25-Season Celebration Pizza Party!  We will be providing the pizza and asking for donations of desserts and/or drinks.  This is a VERY laid back event.  We will have the entire pool club to ourselves from 6-8PM and all awards won at Championships will be distributed.  There will also be a slideshow of season pics running and recognition boards for Top Times and also Most Improved Swimmers!  A really nice way to end our time together.

Finally, PLEASE consider the email that was sent yesterday morning (there are coach eyes on this email so I won't say any more).
