Good morning, Sharks Families!!

CONGRATS ON ANOTHER WIN! Our swimmers swam their hearts out on Wednesday and came away with our 2nd win of the season. Lots of fast swims and best times. Please be sure to have your swimmers check their folders for a Personal Best ribbon. These are given out after the 2nd meet and each meet thereafter to swimmers who improved their time in each event from the meet before.  There were also a few items left behind at the meet. If you (or your swimmers) left clothing, towel or water bottle behind it may be found at the Lost and Found located in the pool club behind the front desk.

Next Dual Meet: Our next dual meet is on Wednesday against Holmdel. Holmdel is the only team that has beaten us in recent memory so this will be a TOUGH ONE! This is a MASSIVE team so we will need everyone's help to make this meet run smoothly. We have almost 50 swimmers undeclared at this point. PLEASE declare your swimmer ASAP. 

If you have not picked up your team t-shirt, please see a parent rep during practices this week!

WorkBond- We are still missing work bond checks(or cash) from a few families.  Each family is required to perform 2 volunteer services (3 if you have multiple swimmers).  The workbond serves as a guarantee that you will donate your time to help our amazing team.  We cannot do this without you!  If you have not turned in your workbond ($50 cash or a check made payable to cash) by practice on Tuesday YOUR SWIMMER WILL NOT BE ENTERED INTO THE MEET ON WEDNESDAY.

Championships: The meet signup for Championships is now open! Please declare your swimmer as ATTENDING or NOT ATTENDING the appropriate meet for his/her age group. This is a SUPER FUN event! Don't worry about which events to register for yet... that will come later. This meet does come with an extra fee. Typically it has been $3 or $5 dollars per individual event. We will need to provide Timers and Marshallers for that meet. Job signups are open!!

With a couple of Dual Meets under your belt, please let us know if you have any questions at all. Swimming seems so easy to understand from the outside but there can be little nuances that seem confusing. We would be more than happy to explain anything you'd like!
