Week 7, MEET DAY and IMPORTANT CHAMPS INFO!

It is week 7 of our 8 week long season and Championships are upon us!
CHAMPIONSHIPS FEE INFO
Attached are the event fee files for all Sharks entered into the Championship Meets. Please find your swimmer(s) name(s) and check the fee total. The meet fees must be paid BEFORE your swimmer's championship as I must bring a check covering our entire entry to the meet! Please bring cash, check made payable to cash to the meet tonight or practice tomorrow. As always, you can also Venmo @nmidura.
The schedule for this week is as follows:
MONDAY: No Practice... Make-Up Meet against Monmouth Heights at Camp Zehnder. The address for the pool is 3911 Herbertsville Road, Wall, NJ PLEASE ARRIVE AT 5:30PM for CHECK-IN. Warmups begin at 6pm.
TUESDAY: Practice
WEDNESDAY: No practice... 13 & Over and 11/12 BOYS Championship meet at Marlboro Swim Club. Address for the pool is Masepe Trail, Marlboro, NJ PLEASE ARRIVE AT 4:00pm FOR CHECK-IN. Our warmup begins at 4:30pm.
THURSDAY: Practice
FRIDAY: Practice
SATURDAY: 10 & Under and 11/12 GIRLS Championship meet at Freehold YMCA Outdoor Pool. PLEASE ARRIVE AT 6:00AM for CHECK-IN. Our warmup beings at 6:15AM.
IT'S MEET DAY (AGAIN!)
We will swim our make-up meet against Monmouth Heights tonight so NO PRACTICE!! Please arrive at the Camp Zehnder YMCA Pool at 5:30PM. The address for the pool is 3911 Herbertsville Rd. Check-In is SUPER important! Please be sure that your swimmer checks in with a coach. If your swimmer does not have his or her name written on his or her arm, SEND YOUR SWIMMER BACK TO THE COACH!! As always, be sure that your swimmer stays with our team so that they do not miss their races. We have marshallers and coaches who will be sure that our younger swimmer get in their correct heat and lane but if they are not with the team we won't know where to find them!
CHAMPIONSHIPS INFO
As mentioned above, please check the total entry fee for your swimmer and submit monies ASAP. We have a special "SPOT" in which our team will sit during championships. The map below shows where each team will be located, as well as where to find The Sport Spot booth and Championship T-Shirt Sales table. The areas with big red x over them are OFF LIMITS. The entire pool deck is off-limits unless you are volunteering. We have MANY volunteer spots available for Saturday. If you want a good view of the action, SIGN UP TO VOLUNTEER!!
RAPTOR FOR SATURDAY: We need to pre-register for the SATURDAY meet only! Each person 18 and older coming to the Championships session on Saturday needs to register for a separate "ticket". The name on the ticket MUST match the name on the Photo ID shown at the door. It only takes a minute to register. The Raptor link will close at 3PM on Friday. Anyone who is a Y member does not need to pre-register. They will be able to scan in at the desk. I'm also attaching pic collage of Raptor instructions. Written step-by-step directions go like this:

COACHES' GIFT
There is still time to contribute to the coaches gift. Cash or Venmo @nmidura. Please give whatever amount you fee is appropriate. We have 10 amazing coaches who care greatly for your children. They devote a lot of time and effort to our Sharks family! Let's show them our appreciation :-)
LEAGUE A PALOOZA
You can still register for our 3 teams, 1 family Summer League a Palooza Tri-Meet! This will be a fun Y of the Jersey Shore summer league teams meet. It can also serve as an unofficial tryout for the "Big Team" if your swimmer is interested in year-round club swimming. We will have standard events, fun events and relays and heat winner prizes. All swimmers should swim FREE and BACK and then may pick a 3rd stroke from butterfly or breaststroke. If your swimmer would like to tryout for the Y Jersey Shore club team, he or she should DEFINITELY choose a 3rd stroke :-)There is a $5 entry fee for the meet but that is all... nothing more per event :-) This meet will take place at the YMCA's Camp Zehnder Pool in Wall, NJ. Warmups will begin at 5:00PM! If you cannot make the tri-meet but your swimmer is interested in trying out for the Y Jersey Shore club team, see the attached flier for 2 more tryout opportunities!
