Hello 2026 Sharks Families!!

There have been a few emails that have been sent out to the team already. You can catch up on all the info by visiting the About-News section of our website.  If you are NEW to the website, click the login at the top right and use the Forgot Password option to set up a new password.

The most important things are these:

1. Practice begins MONDAY, JUNE 8! Schedules can be found on our website.  In the event of inclement weather, we will have an alternate plan in place!

2. There will be mandatory parents meetings at the start of each practice on both Monday and Tuesday of next week. These meetings are FULL of very important information... especially if you are new to Sharks or to competitive swim in general :-)

3. We need volunteers to make our team run properly. Each family is responsible for 2 volunteer assignments. We require a workbond check in the amount of $50 to be held until the volunteer requirements have been fulfilled. There are lots of different opportunities... something for everyone! Workbond checks should be made payable to CASH and are due at the parent meetings next week.

4. Sign up for the REMIND app. We use this app for important last minute information, such as practice/swim meet cancellations. We do not cancel practice early (and try really hard not to cancel at all). Sometimes the practice will be going and we might need to stop early due to weather. We send out those notifications via remind. Text @fhsharks26 to the number 81010 to register. it works best if you have the Remind app downloaded on your phone.

5. The Swimtopia app is AMAZING!  there is a free version if you don't feel the need to rack your swimmers progress.  This is how we declare for meets (DECLARE will be explained at the parents meetings!).  The PRO version is 100% worth the 4 or 5$ you pay per month for it.  You will only need it for June and July and can cancel it at that time.  I will send a reminder to cancel!

6. Sport Spot will be set up during all practices on June 11th.  Gloria is a treasure trove of information.  We do have a TEAM SUIT and IT IS DIFFERENT THIS YEAR!  You can purchase (while supplies last) or order yours with Sport Spot on June 11th.  If you want to call the store and RESERVE a suit, the number is:  732 747-0585.  Just tell them you are with Freehold Sharks :-)
