Hello, Sharks Families!

We are bringing back our Tie-Dye event this year!!  Tomorrow (FRIDAY), practices will run as usual.  After your swimmers finish practice, they are invited to come over and tie dye their team t-shirt with us(Except for 13 and Overs... those swimmers should come BEFORE practice to tie-dye!).  This is 100% OPTIONAL, but super fun.

PLEASE BRING A ZIPLOC BAG WITH YOUR SWIMMER'S NAME WRITTEN ON IT AND YOUR TEAM T-SHIRT!  We will provide everything else needed.

We will have parents to assist with this activity... don't worry if you have no clue how to tie dye.  Our own Parent Rep Alison is a MASTER!  If you have not picked up your shirt, you can see a parent rep tonight or tomorrow.

We will have washing instructions on hand at the event, but here they are:

TIE DYE WASHING INSTRUCTIONS:  

*****LET THE SHIRT DRY/CURE IN THE BAG FOR 24 HOURS.***** 

1. Rinse the shirt under cold water in the sink WITH THE RUBBER BANDS STILL ON. 
2. Cut or remove the rubber bands.  
3. Rinse again with warm water until the water runs clear.  
4. Wash separately with detergent for the first wash.  
5. Dry as usual and enjoy!
