IT'S MEET DAY- Important Info!!

Some VERY important things to know about today's meet. IT WILL BE HOT!! Bring lots of water and shade!!
**Today's meet
Today's meet will be held at the Monmouth Heights Freehold Swim Club, located at 650 Elton Adelphia Rd in Freehold. THIS IS A METERS POOL! Chairs are limited at this location so please BYOC (bring your own chair). The swim club has a wonderful snack bar, so OUTSIDE RESTAURANT FOOD IS NOT ALLOWED. What's on the menu? Hamburgers, hotdogs, quesadilla, chicken fingers, grilled cheese, chicken caesar salad, wraps, fries, onion rings, ice cream... soooooo many options!
**Arrival time for today is 4:15 and doors open at 4:30. Please arrival and queue up for check in. DO NOT ENTER THE SWIM CLUB UNTIL 4:30!
**If your swimmers is not declared for this meet we cannot enter him or her at this point. Please remember to declare your swimmers if they want to swim in the meet.
**This meet will move fast so please have your swimmer STAY WITH THE TEAM so as not to miss a race. The pool has only 5 lanes so the meet will take longer to run even with a faster pace. THE STARTER WILL NOT WAIT FOR SWIMMERS WHO ARE NOT READY.

OUR FINAL DUAL MEET
Our final dual meet of the season will be a home meet on Saturday against Hazlet. Our next meet will be a HOME meet against the Hazlet Hammerheads on Saturday July 18th. Just like our other home meets, everyone 18 or older who will be attending this meet MUST PRE-REGISTER through the YMCA by "purchasing" a free ticket. The photo attached to this email shows the steps to register. It is VERY easy. Just don't forget to click the QUICK CHECKOUT option in step 2. DO NOT LOG IN
Please click here to "purchase" your free ticket for our upcoming meet. REMEMBER: Everyone coming to the meet who is 18 years old or older will need a ticket registered in HIS OR HER own name. The name on the ticket must match the name on the ID of each person. You cannot put everyone's ticket under your own name!
SILLY OLYMPICS
Friday is our annual Silly Olympics! Please note the change in practice times. Our team is broken into 10 and Under and 11 and Over swimmers. Each group will have a 90 minute Silly Olympics session on Friday. Attendance is not mandatory, but the event has been a super fun one in the past! There will be games, races, prizes... it is a good time for our swimmers to have a little fun before the Championships push! 10 and Under session is from 4:45-6:15. The 11 and Over session will be from 6:15-7:45. No extra gear or team suit is required. You can declare on Swimtopia, just like a regular meet. This event is just for the simmers. Parents can watch but they will not participate :-)
CHAMPIONSHIPS
Both championships meets are open and available for registration! Champs works a little differently... your swimmer gets to choose in which events he or she would like to swim. There is a $5 entry fee to participate and then each event and relay is $5. You may select up to 3 individual events and 2 relays for your swimmer. There is no TIME requirement for the championship, however... your swimmer must have a legal time (not a DQ) during the season. For example: Your swimmer has tried the breaststroke and butterfly at a meet but has gotten DQ'd both times. He cannot choose those events for champs. He can swim the FREE and BACK and the FREE RELAY. That would be 3X$5 plus the $5 entry fee. Your total entry fee will be $20. ALL ENTRY FEES MUST BE PAID BY CASH, CHECK MADE PAYABLE TO CASH OR VENMO. Entries are due the evening of Saturday, July 18th!! IF YOU DO NOT DECLARE, YOUR SWIMMER WILL NOT SWIM... NO EXCEPTIONS! Please see a parent rep at practice if you have any questions. This is a FAST turnaround! If paying by Venmo, please note that the payment is for CHAMPIONSHIPS!
PIZZA PARTY!
Our annual end of the year team party will take place on Tuesday, July 28th from 6-8PM at the Freehold YMCA Outdoor Pool. We will have the whole swim club to ourselves to celebrate one last time as a family. All awards won at Championships will be distributed at this event. There is a declaration open so that we know how much pizza to order :-)
SUMMER LEAGUE A PALOOZA TRI-MEET
Please declare your swimmer for the Summer League a Palooza swim meet!! This will be a fun Y of the Jersey Shore summer league teams meet and will be held on Saturday, August 1st. If your swimmer is interested in year-round club swimming, this would be a good meet to attend. This meet will take place at the Old Bridge YMCA, located at 1 Marino Park Drive in Old Bridge. It will be an indoor meet with (optional) block starts. Warmups will begin around 8:30AM. More details will follow!
